Halloween is back in GTA Online from 1 October 2026, and this year it runs through the whole month. Slashers, the Phantom Car, ghosts and possessed animals return to Los Santos, Halloween Survivals pay 3X GTA$ and RP, and completing every weekly challenge until 4 November pays a GTA$2,000,000 bonus. Here is what week 1, from 1 to 7 October, is worth playing.
What is in the GTA Online Halloween event 2026?
The classic Halloween content is back: Slashers and the Clone Slasher, the Phantom Car, the Cerberus Surprise, possessed animals, Ghosts Exposed, Jack O’Lanterns and Peyote Plants, along with the Halloween masks, face paints and decorations at the Diamond Casino. Rockstar has no Newswire post for the event this week, so everything below has been checked against at least two independent trackers.
How to get the GTA$2,000,000 Halloween bonus
Complete every weekly challenge from 1 October through 4 November 2026, and GTA$2,000,000 lands in your account within 72 hours. Week 1’s challenge is easy to fold into the week’s bonuses: secure two Bail Office Bounties. It pays GTA$100,000 and the Green Vintage Skull Mask on its own, and the Bail Office pays 2X GTA$ and RP on Standard and Most Wanted Targets this week.

Dispatch Work, UFO Business Battles and Jack O’Lanterns pay 2X GTA$ and RP, and Ghosts Exposed 2X GTA$.
