Official Trailer
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is one of the most iconic games in history.
Set in the early 1990s, GTA San Andreas follows Carl "CJ" Johnson as he returns to Los Santos after his mother's murder and gets pulled back into gang warfare across three massive cities: Los Santos (LA), San Fierro (San Francisco), and Las Venturas (Las Vegas). The game features RPG elements including character customization, gym workouts, eating, and gang territory control.
GTA San Andreas Map: Three Cities, One State
The San Andreas map was revolutionary for its time, three full cities connected by countryside, desert, and forests. Los Santos covers the gang-heavy south side, Vinewood Hills, and the docks. San Fierro features the Golden Gate-inspired Gant Bridge and Chinatown. Las Venturas recreates the Las Vegas strip with casinos, desert airstrips, and Area 69 (a military base hiding a jetpack). The map also includes Mount Chiliad, rural farmland, and small towns, offering incredible variety for a 2004 game.
