How many days until GTA 6?

41 days until Grand Theft Auto VI releases on Thursday 19 November 2026. The launch is at midnight local time for digital copies, which means the last hours of 18 November for the western United States and the first minutes of 19 November for Europe and the United Kingdom. Rockstar and Take-Two have reaffirmed the date at every earnings call since it was set in November 2025.

What time does GTA 6 unlock in my region?

The PlayStation Store lists a release timestamp per country: digital copies unlock at midnight on 19 November in the store's own time zone, so New Zealand goes first and Mexico goes last, 19 hours later. Xbox follows the same convention. The hour depends on the country of your PlayStation or Xbox account, not on the clock of your console.

The Xbox Store has not shown an unlock time yet, so the New Zealand console-region trick some Xbox players plan to use is not confirmed by Rockstar or Microsoft. When does GTA 6 preload start?

Preloading opens on 12 November 2026 for digital pre-orders on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, one week before launch. Rockstar has not published the install size. There is no disc: boxed copies contain a download code and go on sale on 12 November, so every copy is downloaded.

Has GTA 6 been delayed?

Twice. The game was announced for 2025, moved to 26 May 2026, then to 19 November 2026. Since that second announcement, on 6 November 2025, nothing has moved: pre-orders opened, the editions were priced and the Extended Look aired on schedule.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC on 19 November?

No. The launch covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and Rockstar has not dated a PC version. Rockstar's recent games all reached PC later: Red Dead Redemption 2 took a year and ten days. What is confirmed and what is reported about the PC version is on our GTA 6 PC page.

How big is GTA 6?

Rockstar has not published the install size. On the map, the hands-off previews of 2 September 2026 put Leonida at roughly double GTA V's map and about three times Red Dead Redemption 2's, with Vice City around twice the size of Los Santos; those ratios are the journalists' estimates, not an official figure. Can you pre-order GTA 6 now?

Yes, since 25 June 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S: 79.99 EUR for the Standard Edition, 99.99 EUR for the Ultimate Edition with its sixteen single-player extras, and the Vintage Vice City Pack for every pre-order. Key resellers go lower: the cheapest Standard key you can buy is 66.99 EUR at Eneba on PS5, checked on 28 September 2026 (Instant Gaming has not opened pre-orders).
