GTA San Andreas Tips, Cheat Codes & Secrets
San Andreas is the biggest of the classic GTAs, and the one with the most to unlock: 92 cheat codes, three cities opened one at a time, a body and a set of skills that change with everything CJ does. Here is where each tips page fits.
92 Cheats, Two Spellings on PC
San Andreas has 92 cheats, and 86 of them can be entered on a controller as well as typed. On PC many have two valid codes, one from the original release and one from the Definitive Edition: HESOYAM or INEEDSOMEHELP for health, armour and $250,000, ROCKETMAN for the jetpack. The cheat codes page lists both.

Locked Cities and Hidden Rewards
Only Los Santos and Red County are open at the start; San Fierro opens after The Green Sabre and Las Venturas after Yay Ka-Boom-Boom. The jetpack, the Hydra, the Hunter and the Rhino all wait behind a mission, a school or the full 100%. The secret areas page explains how to reach each one and what every collectible and side job gives CJ.
Make CJ Stronger for Good
Every stat rises by doing the thing it measures: swim for lung capacity, lift weights for muscle, drive for driving skill. A few rewards are permanent: Paramedic maxes CJ's health, Vigilante adds half his armour again, Firefighter makes him fireproof and the Burglar job gives him infinite sprint. The stats page covers all twelve.
And for the curious, the easter eggs page separates the real secrets, like the Half-Life crowbar in Area 69, from the myths: there is no Bigfoot in San Andreas.
