GTAside only collects data strictly necessary for its operation:
Through the newsletter form:
• Email address, collected with your explicit consent
Through the contact form:
• Name or nickname
• Email address
• Message content
Through technical cookies:
• Cookie consent preference (stored locally)
• Browsing data measured by Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, only after you accept
• Advertising identifiers used by Google AdSense, as described in Article 6
We do not collect any banking data, no phone number, no postal address. Purchases made through links to merchants (Instant Gaming, Eneba, Kinguin, Amazon, Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store) are handled directly by those merchants under their own privacy policies.

Contact form → Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) Handling your contact, partnership or report requests.
Technical cookies → Legal basis: legitimate interest Storing your consent preferences.
Analytics → Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) Traffic measurement (Google Analytics 4) and session analysis (Microsoft Clarity) to improve the site.
Advertising → Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) for personalised ads Showing ads from Google AdSense that keep the site free.

Newsletter email address: until you unsubscribe
Contact messages: 1 year maximum after request processing
Consent cookies: 13 months maximum (CNIL standard)
Analytics data: 26 months maximum (Google Analytics default setting)
Beyond these periods, your data is deleted or anonymized.

• Brevo cookies, required for newsletter signup forms

• Google Analytics 4, traffic measurement. Data retained 26 months. • Microsoft Clarity, session recording and heatmaps used to see where visitors get stuck. Loaded only after you accept, never before.
Advertising cookies (consent required in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland)
• Google AdSense and its advertising partners, used to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and, if you agree, personalise them. Details in Article 6.
Third-party cookies via affiliate links
• Instant Gaming and Amazon, our two affiliate partners, may place a tracking cookie when you click one of their links, usually for up to 30 days, so that a purchase can be attributed to GTAside. Other merchants linked from the shop (such as Eneba or Kinguin) may set their own cookies once you are on their site, but GTAside has no affiliate agreement with them.
You can withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy settings link at the bottom of every page, by clearing your browser's localStorage, or through your browser settings.

Advertising (Google AdSense)
GTAside shows ads served by Google AdSense. They help keep the guides free.
• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to GTAside or to other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to GTAside and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
• No advertising cookie is set before you make a choice in our cookie banner. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalised ads will only be shown after you consent through a consent message certified by Google (IAB Transparency and Consent Framework), which lists every advertising partner and will be added as soon as ads are live on GTAside. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.

These providers are subject to their own privacy policies. GTAside does not sell or rent personal data. Advertising data is processed by Google and its partners as described in Article 6.

Data Security
GTAside implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or destruction:
• Secure HTTPS connection (SSL certificate) across the entire site
• Hosting in France at o2switch (secure servers)
• Limited access to collected data (principle of least privilege)
• No storage of banking or sensitive data
