Rockstar has confirmed eight named characters for GTA 6. The two playable protagonists are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Around them: Cal Hampton and Brian Heder in the Leonida Keys, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest and the rap duo Real Dimez in Vice City's music scene, and the bank robber Raul Bautista. All eight were introduced on 6 May 2025 with the second trailer and Rockstar's Only in Leonida pages. No voice actor has been announced. Jason and Lucia: the two protagonists
Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.Rockstar Games, GTA VI
GTA 6 is the first game in the series with two protagonists who share one story. Lucia Caminos opened both trailers: a woman fresh out of Leonida Penitentiary, raised to fight by her father, chasing the good life her mother has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City. Jason Duval is an Army veteran who drifted into working for drug runners in the Keys and, in Rockstar's words, might find that meeting Lucia is "the best or worst thing to ever happen to him." Players switch between them, as in GTA V, but the two are a couple rather than three loosely connected criminals, and the writing leans on the question of whether they can trust each other.
Lucia is the first female lead in a mainline Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar has not said which of the two the story favours, and the Extended Look showed missions for both: Jason's starting in the Keys, Lucia's in Vice City.
The Keys crew: Brian Heder and Cal Hampton
Jason's corner of the map is the Leonida Keys, and two characters come with it. Brian Heder is "a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys," still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, and letting Jason live rent-free in one of his properties in exchange for help with shakedowns. Cal Hampton is Jason's friend and another of Brian's associates, happiest at home listening to Coast Guard radio with a beer. Brian's Boat Works and Marina, on Jason's cap in the bar screenshots, looks like the game's first mission hub.
The Vice City music scene: Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest and Real Dimez
Three characters share one storyline, a record label that needs a hit. Boobie Ike is the "local Vice City legend" who turned his street years into real estate, the Jack of Hearts strip club and a recording studio. Dre'Quan Priest is his partner in Only Raw Records, "more of a hustler than a gangster," who used to book acts into Boobie's club. Real Dimez, the duo Bae-Luxe and Roxy, are the label's new signing, five years after an early hit with the rapper DWNPLY. The second trailer's club, studio and car-hood music-video shots all belong to this trio.
Raul Bautista, the bank robber
Raul Bautista is the one character Rockstar describes in terms of scores: "a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards," whose "recklessness raises the stakes with every score." Rockstar has not said that Jason and Lucia work for him, but the game's premise starts with an easy score gone wrong, and Raul is the only person on the cast list who plans them. His screenshots, a getaway drive with bricks of cash, a yacht at sunset, a planning room lit by monitors, are the heist side of GTA 6.
GTA 6 voice actors: what is confirmed
Nothing. Rockstar has not announced a single cast member, and it did not for GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2 until the credits either. Two names circulate. Manni L. Perez, a New York actress, has been reported as Lucia's performer on the basis of union records, and that report has been repeated widely since 2024 without being denied. Dylan Rourke is attached to Jason by fan comparisons of face and voice only. Nobody has been credibly named for the other six. Each profile states the status for its character.
Will Trevor, Michael, Franklin or CJ be in GTA 6?
Rockstar has announced no returning character, and the series has never brought a protagonist back in a lead role. The one nod to an earlier game in the official material is a weapon: the Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers in the Ultimate Edition are "sourced from the Vercetti Estate," Tommy Vercetti's mansion from the 2002 Vice City. That is a reference, not a cameo. Nothing in the trailers or the Extended Look pointed to the GTA V trio, and Trevor's actor has said publicly that he is not involved.
Where the characters live
Jason, Brian and Cal are Keys people; Lucia, Boobie, Dre'Quan, Real Dimez and Raul are Vice City people, at least at the start. The state around them, six regions from the Keys to Mount Kalaga, is on our GTA 6 map page with Rockstar's descriptions. The Extended Look showed both protagonists crossing between regions, so the split will not hold for long.

GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; the countdown has the days and the unlock hour by region.
