RDR2 Cheats: All 37 Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheat Codes

Red Dead Redemption 2 has 37 cheat codes. You do not type them during play: pause the game, open Settings, and press the button shown for the Cheats menu, Triangle on PlayStation and Y on Xbox. Enter the phrase there, exactly as written.

Twenty-eight of them work from the moment you reach the menu. The other nine stay locked until Arthur has bought the newspaper that prints them, sold by street vendors in Valentine, Annesburg, Rhodes, Saint Denis, Strawberry and Blackwater. Turning cheats on disables saving and blocks Achievements and Trophies for that session, so switch them off and reload if you want your progress to count.

Is There a Money Cheat in RDR2?

Yes, a small one. GREED IS NOW A VIRTUE adds $500 each time you enter it, and it works from the start, without a newspaper. Like every other code, it blocks saving and trophies while it is active, so take the money, switch the cheat off and reload if you want your progress to count.

The Nine RDR2 Cheats That Need a Newspaper

Nine codes stay locked until Arthur buys the newspaper that prints them, from the street vendors in Valentine, Annesburg, Rhodes, Saint Denis, Strawberry and Blackwater: infinite ammunition, the heavy weapons loadout, every camp upgrade, maximum honor, infinite stamina, refill and fortify all bars, the war horse, the circus wagon and the whole map. They are marked "newspaper needed" in the list above.

Cheats spawn a horse; the best horse guide tells you which one to keep. Elsewhere: the legendary animals, the story missions, the weapons, the characters and the game page. The GTA games work differently: typed codes and phone numbers in GTA 5, phone numbers only in GTA 4.
