GTA Online Best Paying Missions
The best single payout is the Dr. Dre finale: $1,099,800 on your first clear of the week, $900,000 after that. The best money you can repeat all evening is the Union Depository Contract, about $300,000 solo, every run. Those are two different answers, and since July 2026 you need both.
| Mission | First clear of the week | Repeat runs | After 1.73 | Solo |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Don't F*ck With Dre Franklin, Agency The Dr. Dre finale. Before 14 July 2026 it paid a flat $1,000,000. The weekly period resets on Thursday, so one clear a week captures the bonus. | $1,099,800 | $900,000 | Weekly bonus | Yes |
The Titan Job, Hard Oscar Guzman The Oscar Guzman Flies Again finale. Hard only opens after one full Normal run. The base is $750,000; the first-of-the-week figure could not be fully confirmed. | $1,125,000 | $750,000 | Weekly bonus | Crew |
The Titan Job, Normal Oscar Guzman The first run you will ever do of it has to be on Normal. | $750,000 | $500,000 | Weekly bonus | Crew |
Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid finale Vincent Scene of the Crime, the last act of the raid. | $600,000 | $400,000 | Weekly bonus | Yes |
The Union Depository Contract Auto Shop The best repeatable earner in the game since July: the Auto Shop contracts were left off the 1.73 list, so this pays identically on every run. The leader keeps about $270,000 to $337,500 after the 10 per cent cut to KDJ and Sessanta. | $300,000 solo, $375,000 with four | Same every run | Untouched | Yes |
The other seven Auto Shop contracts Auto Shop Superdollar Deal, Agency Deal, Lost Contract, Bank Contract, Prison Contract, E.C.U. Job and Data Contract, leader's take. Also untouched by 1.73. | $153,000 to $166,500 | Same every run | Untouched | Yes |
Cayo Perico, Pink Diamond Kosatka The best everyday primary target since the cut, down from about $1.3M. Secondary loot adds to it and lost 10 per cent in the same update. | $910,000 ($1,001,000 Hard) | Lower on repeat | Weekly bonus | Yes |
Cayo Perico, other primaries Kosatka Sinsimito Tequila $400,000, Ruby Necklace $560,000, Bearer Bonds $616,000. You do not choose the target: the scope-out mission decides it. | $400,000 to $616,000 | Lower on repeat | Weekly bonus | Yes |
Classic contact missions Lamar, Simeon, Martin and others The cap is reached only after fifteen minutes, and Hard pays half as much again. Useful for a new character, irrelevant after that. | $2,550 to $20,400 | Same | Untouched | Yes |
Why « Best Paying » Has Two Answers Now
On 14 July 2026, Title Update 1.73 put thirteen named heists and contact missions on a weekly cycle. The first completion in each weekly period pays more than before, and every completion after it in the same week pays less. The week resets on Thursday. Cayo Perico lost up to 30 per cent of its target values in the same patch.
The Auto Shop contracts, Exotic Exports and customer car jobs were left off that list. They pay exactly the same on the tenth run as on the first. So the efficient week in GTA Online is now two things at once: one clear of each big finale on the first day, to take the bonus, then Auto Shop contracts for everything after. Almost every list of best-paying missions was written before July and ranks only the first half.
What the Old Contact Missions Are Worth
Very little. Classic contact missions from Lamar, Simeon, Martin and the rest top out between $2,550 and $20,400, and only if you drag them past fifteen minutes; Hard pays half as much again. They are the right way to spend a new character's first evening and the wrong way to spend any evening after that. The finales in the table above belong to a different category entirely.
Where This Fits
Missions are active money: nothing accrues while you are away. The businesses that keep earning between sessions are ranked on the business tier list, with the hourly figures on the income per hour page. A character with nothing yet should start with the fast money guide. And for the missions that need a firefight, the best assault rifles are ranked by class.
Every payout in GTA Online moves with bonus weeks and patches. 5 of the figures above could not be fully confirmed and are marked as such in the table.
