How to Enter San Andreas Cheats on Each Version
The cheats are the same everywhere, but the buttons are not. The Definitive Edition changed the Xbox layout, and the PS3 port swapped the shoulder buttons. The Xbox column in the tables below follows the Definitive Edition, for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Do Cheats Disable Trophies and Achievements in San Andreas?
On the Definitive Edition, yes, and it sticks to the save file: any cheat disables trophies and achievements on the save you use it on. Keep one clean save and play with cheats on another; load the clean one to earn them again.
Two cheats are permanent. The pedestrian riot and the pedestrians attacking you stay on for good once you save with them active. Most of the others switch off when you enter them again. Some cheats can also break missions, which is one more reason to keep them away from your main save.
Cheats Missing From the Definitive Edition
Three cheats are missing from the Definitive Edition: the invisible cars, where only the wheels show, free aim while driving, and gang members everywhere. On PS5, PS4 and Xbox, three more no longer work: adrenaline mode, never hungry and cars floating away when hit. Four cheats are new: Big Head Mode, drive on water, nitrous taxis and prostitutes who pay you.
Why Do Some Cheats Have Two PC Codes?
On PC, San Andreas turns what you type into a hash, so more than one word can trigger the same cheat. That is why HESOYAM and INEEDSOMEHELP both work. The full story is on the San Andreas PC cheats page.
