The GTA 6 collector’s box is real, but it is not a collector’s edition of the game. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection costs $399.99 in the US, £349.99 in the UK and €399.99 in Europe, ships on 19 November 2026 and contains 11 pieces of merchandise themed on Macca the Gator, a TV show from the game’s world. The game itself is sold separately. Rockstar announced it on 24 September on its Newswire and sells it only on the Rockstar Store, while supplies last.

What is in the box?
Everything is built around Macca the Gator, a pink alligator who stars in a hit TV show in Leonida, and his friend Chunkee the Manatee. The official list:

| Leonida Keys enamel pins | Nine pins in a custom metal tin |
| Sticker pack | Nine vinyl stickers in a stash bag |
| Double-sided poster | Macca the Gator characters on the front, a full map of Leonida on the back |
The map poster is the piece most fans will want: it is an official, printed view of the whole state. Until you get it, our GTA 6 map page covers every region Rockstar has shown.
Does the collector’s box include GTA 6?
No. There is no disc and no download code in the box. To play, you need the Standard Edition at $79.99 or the Ultimate Edition at $99.99, so the box plus the game comes to $479.98 or $499.98 before shipping. Rockstar has announced no collector’s edition of the game itself. The two editions are compared on our GTA 6 editions page, and the cheapest ways to get the game are on our GTA 6 pre-order page.
How to pre-order the Vice City Collection
- It is sold only on the Rockstar Store (store.rockstargames.com), not at retailers.
- Rockstar calls it an “exclusive, limited-edition Collector’s Box”, available “while supplies last”. It has not said how many exist.
- Insider Gaming reported, from store data found before the announcement, a limit of one per customer. Rockstar has not confirmed it.
- Buyers in Asia, Latin America and Australia have to wait: Rockstar says pre-order details for those regions will follow.
Rockstar has done this before
Rockstar has sold a collector’s box without the game before. In June 2018, the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box sold for $99.99 with a lockable cash box, a map, a coin, playing cards and pins, and no game, so that buyers could pair it with the physical or digital edition of their choice. The GTA 6 box follows the same idea at four times the price, with branded fashion items from Oakley and New Era. Reactions on social media quoted by GamingBible focused on that price.
Is the GTA 6 collector’s box worth it?
It depends on what you want. For the game, it adds nothing: no in-game item or bonus is listed. For collectors, it is the only official GTA 6 box, in limited supply, with a figure, real Oakley sunglasses and the printed Leonida map. If you mainly want something physical to keep, the vinyl editions of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album cost far less. Rockstar also says more GTA VI apparel and collectibles are coming to its store soon.
