01Step one

Which Version Should You Buy?

There is one edition of Red Dead Redemption today, and every modern version includes Undead Nightmare, the zombie expansion. The 2023 port brought it to PS4 and Switch, the 2024 port to PC, and the 2025 versions to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 with 4K and 60 frames per second. The Xbox 360 original is also still sold on the Xbox Store and runs on One and Series through backward compatibility. The only other product is a bundle with Red Dead Redemption 2, which costs more than two separate keys.

Key prices and stock, and the Steam, Xbox Store, PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop prices, checked on 28 September 2026, Europe region.

A key

A code you redeem on your own Steam, Microsoft or Nintendo account. The game sits in your library for good. Check the region: a Europe key needs a European account.

An account

The login details of a third-party account that owns the game. You play through it rather than owning it, the seller keeps the recovery email, and platform terms prohibit buying or transferring accounts. Cheap for a reason.
