GTA III Rankings
The fastest car in GTA III is the Infernus, at 240 km/h, and the best weapon is the M16. Two rankings cover what is worth chasing in Liberty City: the cars and the guns.
Cars: Only Two Break 200 km/h
The Infernus tops GTA III at 240 km/h, ten ahead of the Cheetah at 230, and those two are the only cars in Liberty City above 200 km/h. Below them, four vehicles tie at exactly 200, and two of those can be taken off the street for nothing.
On the numbers the Infernus wins, but the Cheetah is the more practical pick for most of the game: it spawns in more places and you will find one long before an Infernus. The cars ranking shows where to find each one.
Weapons: the M16 and a Free Arsenal
The M16 is the gun to own: 60 rounds a magazine, the heaviest firepower in the game and enough to wreck cars. Liberty City has only 13 weapons, two Ammu-Nations and two specialist dealers, and the 100 hidden packages hand nearly all of them out for free, one new item every ten packages. The weapons ranking gives the price, the shop and the free location of each one.
