GTA Vice City Rankings

📅 Checked on

In GTA Vice City the fastest car is the Infernus, at 240 km/h, the hardest-hitting gun is the Minigun, and the best business is the Malibu Club, at $10,000 a day. Three rankings cover what is worth chasing in Tommy Vercetti's city: the cars, the guns, and the properties that pay for both.

Cars: A Crowded Top of the Table

Vice City sorts its cars into speed brackets, which is why the top of the list looks so crowded. The Infernus sits alone at 240 km/h, and it is easy to get: one is parked outside Ricardo Diaz's mansion, the house that later becomes Tommy's. The Cheetah and the police Cheetah share second place at 230 km/h; the police version, parked beside the Little Havana police station in the later releases, is the simplest fast car to grab early.

Below them, seven cars are tied at exactly 200 km/h. When the speed is identical, the choice comes down to how each one handles and how easy it is to find, which is exactly what the cars ranking lays out.

Weapons: Power for the Set Pieces, the M4 for Everything Else

On paper the Minigun wins: 140 damage per shot at 1,800 rounds a minute, for $10,000 at Phil's Place once Boomshine Saigon is done. It is a weapon for set pieces, heavy and slow to carry around.

For everyday fights the M4 is the one to keep: 40 per shot, 625 rounds a minute and a 30-round magazine, $5,000 at the Downtown Ammu-Nation after Rub Out. The hidden packages pay out in weapons too, left at your safehouses as you collect them, which is the cheapest way to arm Tommy for the rest of the game.

Properties: Where Tommy's Money Comes From

Once the story opens up, properties fund everything else. The Malibu Club pays the most, $10,000 a day for $120,000 after The Job, so it pays for itself in twelve days. Sunshine Autos costs only $50,000 and climbs to $9,000 a day as you complete its import lists, and the Print Works brings in $8,000 a day for $70,000 once Hit the Courier is done.

Buy the cheap earners first and the expensive ones pay for themselves faster: the properties ranking sorts every business by daily income and by how many in-game days it takes to earn its price back.
