Fastest Cars in GTA Vice City
The fastest car in GTA Vice City is the Infernus, at 240 km/h, and it is the only car at that speed. The Cheetah and the police Cheetah tie at 230, the Hotring Racer reaches 220, and seven cars share 200 km/h. Tied vehicles carry the same rank below, because the game gives them exactly the same figure.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Infernus | 240 km/h 149.13 mph | Sports | Parked in front of the mansion owned by Ricardo Diaz, and later Tommy Vercetti. Prior to the mansion's change of hand, the Infernus is randomly colored, and thereafter the car appears with a unique white body color. |

Why So Many Ties?
Vice City puts its vehicles into speed brackets, like every GTA of its generation: every figure is a round number of kilometres per hour, 240, 230, 220, 200, 190, 180. Seven cars share 200, the Banshee, the Blista Compact, the Comet, the Deluxo, the Phoenix, the police car and the Stinger, so choosing between them is a matter of handling, not speed. GTA III and San Andreas work the same way, and in San Andreas the Infernus shares its 240 with the Turismo.
The Cars From Sunshine Autos
Several of the fast cars are rewards rather than street finds: the Hotring Racer, the Deluxo and the Sandking appear at Sunshine Autos as you complete its import lists. The Deluxo, one of the 200 km/h cars, is the first of them.
