Oni hides its cheats in plain sight. On PC you type a word on the F1 pause screen. On PS2 you open the Help menu and press a button sequence. On PC, typing the same word again turns the cheat off.
22 PC codes and 11 PS2 sequences are listed. A PS2 Gatling Guns code is left out: it either duplicates the infinite ammo sequence or does not exist.
How to Enter Codes on PC
During play, press F1 to open the pause screen and type the word. A message confirms it and the cheat applies when you close the screen. The PC codes are locked at first: according to OniGalore, the Oni community wiki, finishing the game unlocks them. Cheat Code Central and OniGalore both describe an earlier route, editing the persist.dat save file, which you should back up first.

PlayStation 2 Codes
