Frequently Asked Questions
How do you enter cheats in GTA Chinatown Wars?
Press the button combination during gameplay, without pausing. The inputs have to follow each other quickly. Some cheats, the Explosive Eagle in particular, are turned off by entering the same sequence a second time.
Why are some Chinatown Wars codes missing from this page?
This page lists every DS, PSP and mobile code, including the fourth weapon pack. The only sequence left out is Up, Down, Left, Right, A, X, R, L, whose weather effect could not be confirmed.
Do the DS cheats work on the mobile version?
Not the button sequences. On iPhone, iPad and Android you spell a word on the Mission Replay Board inside a safe house instead: CASHIN gives $10,000, LIFEUP restores health and BOOMCAN turns on the Explosive Eagle. The full list is in the mobile section above.
