GTA Advance Cheat Codes
📅 Last updated: · Verified on the current game version
The verified cheat codes for GTA Advance on Game Boy Advance. Nothing works until you switch on cheat mode: hold A + B + Start during gameplay.
You will know cheat mode is on because your coordinates appear on screen. Only then do the combinations below register. Every sequence starts the same way, Left, Right, Up, Down, followed by two buttons that decide the effect, which makes them unusually easy to remember. The console game it sits beside is covered on the GTA III cheat codes page.

The last two codes are toggles: Right, Right swings the wanted level between its maximum and zero, and B, R switches gang hostility on and off, so entering either one a second time undoes it.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you turn on cheat mode in GTA Advance?
Hold A, B and Start together during gameplay. Your coordinates appear on screen to confirm it worked. Until you do this, none of the cheat combinations register.
Why do all GTA Advance cheats start the same way?
Every code opens with Left, Right, Up, Down, and only the last two buttons change. That makes the whole set unusually easy to remember once you know the pattern.
Can you play GTA Advance on modern hardware?
There is no official re-release. GTA Advance was never added to a modern storefront or included in any GTA collection, which makes it the hardest game in the series to play legally today.
Is there a money cheat in GTA Advance?
Yes. With cheat mode on (hold A, B and Start), press Left, Right, Up, Down, L, L to add $15,000.
