Amanda De Santa: Michael's Wife in GTA 5

Amanda De Santa, formerly Amanda Townley, is Michael De Santa's wife and the mother of Jimmy and Tracey in GTA V (2013). A former stripper, her affair with her tennis coach is one of the events that pushes Michael back into crime. Vicki Van Tassel plays her.

Amanda and Michael

Amanda met Michael Townley in a strip club run by her own mother. Michael calls her "Mandy". She stayed faithful until she caught him with a stripper, then cheated on him with many men in revenge.

Once the family is back, Amanda can be played at tennis on the villa's court. Her car is a red Sentinel. Michael's children are Jimmy and Tracey, and his own profile is on the Michael De Santa page.

Amanda in GTA Online

In A Safehouse in the Hills (December 2025), Michael and Amanda welcome the player the first time they enter their villa, and Amanda announces that their son is finally moving out. At the end of the mission Home Sweet Home, Michael keeps his part in the shootout from her. Vicki Van Tassel, who plays her, is from Denver, Colorado.

Dave Norton: The FIB Agent Who Faked Michael's Death

David "Dave" Norton is the FIB agent in GTA V (2013) who arranged Michael Townley's disappearance after the 2004 Ludendorff robbery and was credited with killing him. In the story, he and his boss Steve Haines force Michael back into dirty work. Julian Gamble plays him.

Dave Norton and North Yankton

Norton made the secret deal that let Michael disappear after Ludendorff in 2004, and he was credited with killing Michael there. In the Prologue, it is his shot that hits Brad Snider during the escape; he then attends Michael's funeral.

What Happens to Dave Norton?

With Haines, Norton asks Franklin to kill Trevor, one of the requests behind the final choice. He survives all three endings. GTA V has three endings, chosen by Franklin after the Union Depository heist: Something Sensible (kill Trevor), The Time's Come (kill Michael) and The Third Way (save both). Dave Norton is Julian Gamble's only Rockstar role. On television he appeared in Remember WENN, Matlock, Law & Order, Third Watch, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Gotham.

Devin Weston: The Billionaire Villain of GTA 5

Devin Weston is a billionaire investor linked to the private security firm Merryweather and one of the antagonists of GTA V (2013). After a feud with Michael De Santa, he offers Franklin the option of killing Michael. Jonathan Walker plays him.

How Devin Enters the Story

Devin first appears in By the Book, leaving a meeting with Steve Haines as Michael and Trevor arrive. They really meet at the end of Blitz Play, when Michael delivers the bonds stolen from the IAA van to his mansion. Devin offers Michael a film with his idol Solomon Richards, and asks Trevor and Franklin to steal five luxury cars for him to sell to Chinese dignitaries.

The Five Cars, and the Payment That Never Comes

Trevor and Franklin are never paid, and Franklin is still complaining about it in Lamar Down.

Devin, Meltdown and Molly Schultz

Devin wants to stop the film Meltdown just before it is finished and collect the insurance. In Legal Trouble, his lawyer Molly Schultz runs off with the reel; Michael chases her across the airport to Devin's hangar, where she is sucked into a jet engine, and Solomon reveals he has digital copies. On the night of the premiere, in Meltdown, Devin hints he has gone after Michael's family: Michael and Jimmy drive home and fight off the Merryweather men threatening Amanda and Tracey. After The Big Score, Devin comes to Franklin in person and orders him to kill Michael.

What Happens to Devin Weston?

He survives Something Sensible and The Time's Come. In The Third Way, Merryweather guards his mansion; Trevor finds him hiding in a crate by the pool, knocks him out and locks him in the trunk of his own Tornado. Devin tries to buy Trevor off, then the three push the car off a cliff at Paleto Cove. With no body, the police and the FIB list him as missing, and Merryweather's CEO Don Percival emails Michael and Trevor his thanks for letting him buy Devin's shares cheaply.

Devin's Mansion in GTA Online

His mansion on Buen Vino Road, Tongva Hills, returns in GTA Online's A Safehouse in the Hills (10 December 2025) as The Tongva Estate, sold by Prix Luxury Real Estate for GTA$11,500,000 with a 20-car garage, the cheapest of the three villas. Jonathan Walker, who plays Devin, is known on television for Sex and the City, Law & Order, Spin City and Ed.

Jimmy De Santa: Michael's Son in GTA 5

James "Jimmy" De Santa, formerly James Townley, is Michael and Amanda's son in GTA V (2013). His car is what brings Michael and Franklin together, and he reappears in GTA Online's The Diamond Casino Heist. Danny Tamberelli plays him.

Jimmy's Story

Dan Houser described Jimmy as a whiny 20-year-old stoner, lazy and hooked on video games. In Franklin and Lamar, Simeon is talking him into buying a car on credit: it is the car Franklin is later sent to repossess, which is how Franklin meets Michael.

By the end of the story, Jimmy admits not everything is his father's fault, starts exercising and looks for a job.

In The Diamond Casino Heist (2019), "Uncle Les" gives him a job at the player's arcade because it sounded like gaming; Jimmy hoped for esports, and Lester bets he will not last a week. He has a silent cameo in the mission Slush Fund of The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid (2024), and in A Safehouse in the Hills (December 2025) Amanda announces that he is finally moving out.

Danny Tamberelli

Danny Tamberelli, born on 8 February 1982 and from New Jersey, gives Jimmy his voice and motion capture. He is best known as Little Pete in The Adventures of Pete & Pete, for All That and as the voice of Arnold in The Magic School Bus.

Steve Haines: The Corrupt FIB Agent of GTA 5

Steven "Steve" Haines is a corrupt FIB agent and one of the antagonists of GTA V (2013). Dave Norton's superior, he forces Michael and his crew into dirty jobs while hosting his own TV show. Robert Bogue plays him.

Who Is Steve Haines?

Haines joined the FIB around 1993 and runs his own unit, with Dave Norton and Andreas Sanchez under him. He is paid by wealthy backers, Devin Weston among them. When he discovers Norton's secret deal with Michael, he uses it to force the crew to sabotage the rival IAA, so that the government gives the FIB a bigger budget.

What Happens to Steve Haines?

He survives Something Sensible and The Time's Come. In The Third Way, Lester finds him filming an episode of his show on the Del Perro Pier Ferris wheel: Trevor gets patched into his earpiece, then shoots him, ideally with a sniper rifle, because Haines spots him if he comes too close. GTA V has three endings, chosen by Franklin after the Union Depository heist: Something Sensible (kill Trevor), The Time's Come (kill Michael) and The Third Way (save both). Robert Bogue

Robert Bogue was born on 27 August 1964 in Minden, Nebraska, and played A.C. Mallet in the soap Guiding Light from 2005 to 2009. He is also Red Harlow, the hero of Red Dead Revolver (2004), who returns in Red Dead Redemption, and Troy in The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Tracey De Santa: Michael's Daughter in GTA 5

Tracey De Santa, formerly Tracey Townley, is Michael and Amanda's daughter in GTA V (2013), obsessed with becoming famous. Her audition for the TV talent show Fame or Shame is one of the story's missions. Michal Sinnott plays her.

Tracey's Story

Tracey, the elder of the two children, wants to be a singer and dancer. She leaves Michael with the rest of the family before they reunite. Her car, a yellow Issi, stays at the De Santa house while the family lives there.

Tracey in the Endings

In The Time's Come, just before Franklin kills him, Michael gets a call telling him Tracey has been accepted to college. After the family reconciles, Michael promises to make her a film star once he is a producer. In GTA Online, Jimmy can be heard shouting at her on the phone in the player's arcade.

Michal Sinnott

Michal Sinnott, born Michal Leamer in Rock Island, Illinois, also appeared in the film Ironclads (1991) and in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Wade Hebert: Trevor's Loyal Sidekick in GTA 5

Wade Hebert is Trevor Philips's naive sidekick in GTA V (2013) and the cousin of Floyd Hebert. Trevor calls him "Wadey". Matthew Maher plays him.

Who Is Wade?

A parody of a Juggalo, the fans of Insane Clown Posse, Wade was on his way to "the gathering" in 2012 with his friends Daisy Bell and Kush-Chronic when they stopped in Sandy Shores to buy drugs. His friends left for a career with a local dealer, Trevor, and were never seen again. Wade thinks they abandoned him, and Trevor takes him under his wing.

Wade ends the story at the Vanilla Unicorn. Trevor's full story is on the Trevor Philips page.

Is Wade in GTA Online?

Not on screen. In the Los Santos Drug Wars update (13 December 2022), his cousin Dax leads the Fooliganz, a Juggalo crew that takes over Trevor's old business in Sandy Shores and gives the First Dose missions, in which Wade is mentioned.

Matthew Maher

Matthew Maher, born in 1971 or 1972, has appeared in films including Dogma (1999), Gone Baby Gone (2007), Captain Marvel (2019) and Air (2023), and plays Black Pete in the series Our Flag Means Death.
