GTA 5 Spaceship Parts: All 50 Locations and the Reward
GTA 5 has 50 spaceship parts, glowing power cells scattered from the Los Santos docks to Paleto Bay. They unlock after the story mission Fame or Shame, when Franklin meets Omega in Sandy Shores, and returning all 50 gives you the Space Docker and the From Beyond the Stars trophy. Any character can pick them up, but only Franklin can hand them in. All 50 locations are below, numbered roughly from south to north, with how to reach each one.

How to Start Collecting Spaceship Parts
Finish the story mission Fame or Shame, then switch to Franklin and drive to the green question mark in eastern Sandy Shores. Meeting Omega, a conspiracy theorist convinced a UFO crashed over San Andreas, plays the short mission Far Out, and from then on the parts can be picked up. Nothing marks them on the map: at night they pulse with light, and a rhythmic hum gets louder as you get close.
All 50 Spaceship Part Locations
Numbered roughly from south to north, starting at the Los Santos docks. Parts that need a helicopter or a dive are marked in the last column.

Parts That Need a Helicopter or a Dive
Six parts are underwater: numbers 3, 21, 23, 28, 31, 41. A normal breath dive reaches all of them, even the deepest, number 3, about 16 metres down by the Merryweather dock, and number 23 at the foot of the Land Act Dam. Parts 12, 15, 19, 39, 44 sit on roofs, a bridge beam or a cliff ledge and are far easier with a helicopter; there is one on the Vespucci helipad and one on the hospital roof. Trevor's flying skill steadies the aircraft, which helps most on the bridge.
The Reward: Space Docker and From Beyond the Stars

After the 50th part, Omega texts Franklin. Drive to his trailer and garage near the RON Alternates wind farm, by Davis Quartz, to start the last mission, The Final Frontier. At the end, Omega hands over the Space Docker, a Dune Buggy he rebuilt as a homemade spaceship, with a sci-fi horn and engine. It has no special ability, but it is one of a kind: drive it straight to a garage to keep it. The mission also unlocks the From Beyond the Stars trophy or achievement. There is no cash for individual parts.
Spaceship Parts, GTA Online and Other Collectibles
The parts only exist in story mode; the Space Docker came to GTA Online separately, through Arena War. The 50 letter scraps are a different collectible, also needed for 100%: they solve the murder of starlet Leonora Johnson. Every other collectible and secret is on our GTA 5 easter eggs page, the story order on the GTA 5 missions list, and the regions named above on the GTA 5 map.
