Undead Nightmare Cheat Codes
📅 Last updated: · Verified on the current game version
The cheat codes that work in Undead Nightmare. The expansion uses the same menu as Red Dead Redemption, and most of the base game's phrases carry over.
Two things are worth knowing before you look for a list. First, not every base game cheat carries over: weather and bounty codes simply do nothing in the outbreak. Second, the cheats people most associate with the expansion, Beastmaster, Punchout, the extra gun sets and the Dead Eye levels, are not typed phrases at all: they are unlocked through challenges rather than entered. Only the confirmed typed phrases are listed here.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do Red Dead Redemption cheats work in Undead Nightmare?
Most of them do. The expansion uses the same cheat menu and accepts the same phrases, but a few base game codes do nothing in the outbreak, weather and bounty cheats among them.
Are Beastmaster and Punchout cheat codes?
No. Those, along with the extra gun sets and the Dead Eye levels, are unlocked by completing challenges rather than by typing a phrase. That is why they appear on some lists as if they were codes.
Do you need Red Dead Redemption to play Undead Nightmare?
No. It was sold as downloadable content but also released standalone on disc, so it can be played without owning the base game.
