Red Dead Redemption Cheat Codes
📅 Last updated: · Verified on the current game version
Every Red Dead Redemption cheat code phrase. They are entered from the pause menu, under Options then Cheats, and typed in full including the punctuation.
These are whole sentences rather than single words, and the punctuation matters as much as the letters. Once entered, a cheat is added to a list you can switch on and off. Two things to know before you start: cheats block achievements and trophies while they are active, and they disable autosaving. The zombie expansion adds its own, listed on the Undead Nightmare page.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you enter cheat codes in Red Dead Redemption?
Pause the game, open Options, then Cheats, and type the phrase in full. Punctuation counts, capitalisation does not. Once accepted, the cheat joins a list you can toggle on and off without retyping it.
Do cheats disable trophies in Red Dead Redemption?
Yes. Achievements and trophies stop unlocking while a cheat is active, and autosaving is disabled. To earn them again you have to restart the game from the main menu in a clean session.
Do these cheats work on PS4, Switch and PC?
Yes. The 2023 PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch port and the 2024 PC release kept the same cheat menu and the same phrases as the original PS3 and Xbox 360 game.
