GTA Liberty City Stories Missions: Every Mission and the Ending
📅 Checked on
GTA Liberty City Stories has 70 story missions. Set in 1998, three years before GTA III, it follows Toni Cipriani as he returns to the Leone family, survives a set-up by his rival Vincenzo and a hit ordered by his own mother, and fights a gang war secretly started by the Sicilian Mafia. The last mission, The Sicilian Gambit, ends with Toni and Salvatore Leone killing Massimo Torini and rescuing the mayor.
All 70 missions are listed below. Portland's 33 missions and the last missions come in a fixed order. On Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale several mission givers are open at the same time, so those missions are grouped by giver.

Portland: Back in the Family
Toni returns after four years away and has to start near the bottom, working for Vincenzo Cilli. He helps JD O'Toole defect from the Sindaccos to the Leones, but Vincenzo sets him up with the police, and Toni's mother puts a hit on him for his lack of ambition. JD is killed before he can be made. Toni kills Vincenzo, and when the corrupt mayor Roger C. Hole tries to have Salvatore arrested, the two flee to Staunton Island.
Staunton Island: The Mayoral Race
Toni kills Mayor Hole and is made a full member of the family. Salvatore backs Donald Love for mayor, but Love loses to Miles O'Donovan because of his ties to the Leones, and O'Donovan has Salvatore arrested. Meanwhile, Massimo Torini of the Sicilian Mafia has been setting Liberty City's gangs against the families.
Shoreside Vale: The War Ends
Toni kills Paulie Sindacco, destroys a Yakuza tank, and helps Toshiko Kasen get rid of her husband Kazuki, after which she takes her own life. For a bankrupt Donald Love, he kills Love's old mentor Avery Carrington and levels Fort Staunton with 8-Ball's explosives. He also kills reporter Ned Burner, who could expose them.
How Does Liberty City Stories End?
To keep Salvatore's charges from being dropped, Torini kidnaps Mayor O'Donovan. Toni and Salvatore rescue him and kill Torini at a lighthouse. The mayor now owes the Leones, Torini's boss, Salvatore's own uncle, gives up and returns to Sicily, and Toni is promoted to caporegime.
