GTA London 1969 Cheat Codes for PC and PlayStation
📅 Last updated: · Verified on the current game version
All the cheat codes for GTA London 1969 on PC, then on PlayStation below. Like the 1997 original it runs on, they are entered as your character's name rather than typed during play.
London 1969 is the first expansion the series ever shipped, and it kept the name entry system of the game it needs to run. HERC is the one to remember: it switches on most of the other cheats at once. The base game's codes are listed on the GTA 1 cheat codes page.

Other names circulate for the PC version, such as ASAWINDOW, TOURETTES, OHMATRON and PIEANDMASH. Their effect could not be confirmed, from unlimited lives to invulnerability or a diagnostic mode, so they are left out rather than guessed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you enter cheats in GTA London 1969?
As your character's name on the name entry screen, exactly as in the 1997 original. Clear the field, type the code, press Enter. Nothing is typed during gameplay.
What does the HERC cheat do?
It is the master cheat. It switches on the score multiplier, all weapons, no police, level select, drive-by shooting and unlimited lives in one go, which saves entering them separately.
Do you need the original GTA to play London 1969?
On PC, yes. London 1969 is an expansion pack rather than a standalone game, and it requires an installed copy of the 1997 Grand Theft Auto.
Do the London 1969 PC cheats work on PlayStation?
No. The PlayStation version has its own codes: HAROLDHAND turns every cheat on, MCVICAR gives 99 lives and GRASS removes the police. You still enter them as your player name.
