Who is Raul Bautista?
Raul robs banks for a living, and he is good at it. He has the charm to talk people into a job, the nerve to plan it and an eye for recruits willing to take the risks that pay the most.
His weakness is the same as his strength. Each score is bolder than the last, and sooner or later the people around him will have to decide whether to go all in with him or walk away from the table.

What the trailers and screenshots show
Raul was introduced on 6 May 2025 with the second trailer and Rockstar's Only in Leonida pages. His four screenshots are a heist movie in miniature: a planning room lit by monitors, a getaway drive in leather gloves with a pistol and bricks of cash beside him, a yacht at sunset with the Vice City skyline behind, and a night walk in a white blazer under neon palms. Together they sum him up: relaxed on the surface, dangerous underneath.
He is the recruiter of the cast, always looking for people bold enough for the riskiest jobs, and the two protagonists are exactly that. Rockstar has not said that Jason and Lucia work for him, but no other character is described as running scores, and the game's premise, an easy score that goes wrong and drags the couple into a state-wide conspiracy, needs someone to have set that score up.
The warning comes with it: each score raises the stakes, and his crew will eventually have to go all in or get out. It is the closest thing in the official material to a description of the story's midpoint.
His connections in the cast
Jason Duval: presumably one of the recruits Raul is looking for. Rockstar has not confirmed the link, but the premise of the game points to it.
Lucia Caminos: same presumption. The doorway screenshot of Lucia and Jason armed together looks like a score in progress.
His crew: unnamed. His crew will have to decide whether to keep following him as the risks grow.
Voice actor
Not announced. No credible report has named Raul's performer. Rockstar kept the GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 casts quiet until release, so silence here is normal, not a sign of anything.
