Brian Heder in GTA 6: Who He Is, Story and Screenshots

Brian Heder is a veteran drug runner in the Leonida Keys who still runs his trade through the boat yard he shares with his third wife, Lori. He lets Jason live rent-free in one of his properties in exchange for help with shakedowns, which makes his marina the starting point of Jason's story. Not playable; no performer named.

Who is Brian Heder?

Brian belongs to the old school of the Keys, the smugglers who learned the trade when the product came in by boat and by small plane. He has not retired: the business still runs through his boat yard, which he shares with his third wife, Lori. What has changed is his rank. These days, younger men take the risks.

Jason is one of them. Brian gives him a roof, rent-free, in exchange for muscle on local shakedowns, and Jason drops by now and then for a glass of Lori's sangria. A comfortable deal for Brian; a dead end for Jason.

What the trailers and screenshots show

Brian arrived with the second trailer on 6 May 2025 and Rockstar's Only in Leonida pages. He is the man in the pickup window with the mirrored sunglasses and the goatee, and he is the most colourful of the supporting cast: a smuggler from the Keys' golden age, a boat yard that still moves product, a third wife named Lori who makes sangria, and a boast about hauling enough grass in his plane to make Leonida levitate.

He is also the reason Jason is where he is. Rockstar says Brian lets Jason live rent-free in one of his properties in exchange for help with local shakedowns, so Jason's home at the start of the game is Brian's. The screenshots show the arrangement: Brian riding in Jason's truck, Brian at the marina bar where Jason drinks, Brian handing over a wrapped brick at the boat yard, and Brian with a pistol in hand between Lori and Jason beside a pickup.

Brian's Boat Works and Marina is a location as much as a character: it is on Jason's cap in the bar screenshot and on the sign behind Jason and Cal at night. Expect it to be the Keys' mission hub for the opening hours of the game.

His connections in the cast

Jason Duval: his tenant and muscle. Jason lives rent-free in Brian's property and helps with shakedowns.

Cal Hampton: another of his associates, and Jason's friend.

Lori: his third wife, who works the boat yard with him and makes the sangria. She appears in one screenshot, blonde, beside Brian and Jason.

Voice actor

Not announced. No credible report has named Brian's performer. Rockstar kept the GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 casts quiet until release, so silence here is normal, not a sign of anything.
